Job description

Turnkey Processing Solutions, LLC is looking for Ironworkers. The Ironworker will be a part of our mobile crew, who work at various project locations. Per Diem is paid in addition to hourly wage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assembles, installs, and dismantles steel structures, conveyors, and processing equipment, machinery, bracing and rigging equipment using various hand tools.
  • Raises, places, and connects iron or steel girders, columns, and other structural materials to form completed structures or structural frameworks.
  • Move machinery and equipment, using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks; selecting appropriate method and tools according to weight/size of load.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with established customer standards or required specifications and guidelines, and in support of our company quality standards.
  • Weld and fabricate parts, materials, and structures.
  • Operate heavy equipment; operate and work from a man lift.
  • May direct workers engaged in hoisting of machinery and equipment, using signals for crane operation.
  • Read blueprints and schematic drawings.
  • Coordinate installation and work efforts with management and complete work according to prepared schedules.
  • Initiate and maintain good housekeeping practices in all work areas.
  • Work Safety into daily routine, lead by example, exhibit an emphasis on completing all tasks in a safe manner, and participate in Visible Felt Leadership (VFL).
  • Complies with all MSHA, OSHA, company and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Travels as required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3 years' relevant experience as an ironworker.
  • Experience with welding preferred.
  • Able to read blueprint and schematic drawings to determine work procedures and visualize how they would look as assembled equipment.
  • Knows hand signals for crane operation.
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Knowledge of MSHA and OSHA regulations.
  • High awareness of Safety at all times, constant awareness of others' safety as well as your own.
  • Agree to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the company.
  • Ability to work in special environments, special shift hours, and/or mandatory overtime.
  • Must be able and willing to travel.
  • Successfully pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, motor vehicle records check, and physical/occupational screenings.
