Job description

Crane Operator

Turnkey Processing Solutions, LLC is looking for Crane Operators. The Crane Operator will be a part of our mobile crews, who work throughout the country at various project locations. Per diem is paid in addition to hourly wage, average 50 to 60 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a pedestal or crawler crane to lift, move, and place objects safely in support of construction operations.
  • Responsible for daily inspection, required maintenance, and safe operation of assigned crane.
  • Create critical lift plans.
  • Assist the team with various other duties outside of the crane when the crane is not needed.
  • Read and understand load charts; read blueprints and schematic drawings.
  • Coordinate installation and work efforts with management and complete work according to prepared schedules.
  • Initiate and maintain good housekeeping practices in all work areas.
  • Work safety into daily routine, lead by example, exhibit an emphasis on completing all tasks in a safe manner, and participate in Visible Felt Leadership (VFL).
  • Complies with all MSHA, OSHA, company and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Travels as required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience operating a pedestal or crawler crane.
  • NCCCO Crane Operator Certification.
  • Must be familiar with 50-75 RT Truck Crane, lattice boom crane.
  • Must be able to provide evidence of completion of a crane operator training course for the type of machinery that will be operated.
  • Knowledge and experience in operating controls, rigging principles, hand signals, and safe lifting procedures.
  • Must have the ability to operate crane and lift loads in a safe and non-hazardous manner to ensure the safety of operator and all other employees in the area.
  • Agree to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the company.
  • Must be able and willing to travel.
  • Ability to work in special environments, special shift hours, and/or mandatory overtime.
  • Successfully pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, motor vehicle records check, physical/occupational screenings, and DOT physical requirements when applicable.
