Job description

Overview:

The Hydraulic Hose Assembler is responsible for building custom hydraulic hose assemblies to specification. This role involves selecting proper hoses and fittings, accurately measuring and cutting hoses, crimping with precision equipment, and ensuring all assemblies meet quality and safety standards. This is a full time role starting at $18/hr with a Mon. - Thur. schedule, 6am-4:30pm.
  • Assemble hydraulic hoses using appropriate fittings and crimping techniques.
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings, work orders, and specifications.
  • Operate crimping machines, saws, and other related tools safely and accurately.
  • Inspect completed assemblies for leaks, proper crimp dimensions, and quality compliance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.
  • Assist with inventory control of hose, fittings, and related materials.

Skills and Experience:

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of hydraulic systems.
  • Knowledge of hose sizing, fitting types (JIC, NPT, ORFS, BSP, etc.), and crimp specifications.
  • Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Prior experience in hydraulic hose assembly, manufacturing, or maintenance a must.
  • Must pass pre-employment background check
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
