Job Description:
PIRTEK, the nation's leading provider of on-site hydraulic and industrial hose replacement services is hiring Hydraulic Hose Installation Technicians to service, assemble, and install hydraulic and industrial hoses for a diverse customer base in varying environmental conditions. This is a messy job that requires manual labor and on-call hours (on-call with incentive pay), so dedication and grit is essential. We are looking for team members with excellent communication and strong customer service skills. If you are mechanically inclined, enjoy meeting and working with customers and a high-performing team, PIRTEK could be an excellent career path for your future growth.
As a PIRTEK Hydraulic Hose Installation Technician, you will operate out of a PIRTEK Service & Supply Center in a purpose-built mobile hose workshop/van and carry out service calls in the local area, providing the opportunity to develop relationships with new and existing customers.
Hydraulic and industrial hose experience is NOT required! Each Technician is provided complete training on industry knowledge, PIRTEK processes, safety standards, and how to operate your purpose-built mobile service unit. PIRTEK also provides support through a 24/7 hotline for Technicians to ask technical questions.
Responsibilities:
• Carry out service calls in the local area, both indoor and outdoor environments
• Identify and remove faulty hoses and/ or hose assemblies, install the new replacement to service the needs of a diverse customer base
• Develop relationships with new and existing customers
• Maintain van and equipment
• Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues on site when possible
• Participate in the rotating On-Call schedule (with increased incentive pay)
• Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Mechanically Inclined, experience wrenching on vehicles or heavy equipment a plus
• Good Communication Skills
