General Manager for a small Luxury Boutique Resort - Turks & Caicos Islands

We are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial, and hands-on General Manager to lead the operations of a small size luxury independent boutique resort in the Turks & Caicos Islands. The resort offers stylish accommodations, a swimming pool, beach access, and multiple food and beverage outlets, guided by a vision to elevate the resort into one of the Caribbean's most sought-after boutique retreats, delivering personalized luxury, genuine island charm, and unforgettable guest experiences.


This opportunity is ideally suited to a hospitality professional who enjoys leading from the front, values authentic guest connections, and is passionate about creating memorable luxury experiences in a boutique island setting.


As the leader of a lean, high-performing team, the General Manager will have full responsibility for the resort's day-to-day operations and overall business performance. This is a highly visible role requiring an individual who is equally comfortable engaging with guests, supporting frontline operations, and driving strategic business initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide overall leadership and management of all resort operations, including guest services, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and administration.
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences through personalized service, quality standards, and a strong culture of hospitality.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a motivated team while fostering accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.
  • Drive revenue growth through sales, marketing, pricing strategies, and business development initiatives.
  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, bookkeeping oversight, cost controls, inventory management, and profitability.
  • Ensure the property is maintained to the highest standards of presentation, safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships with owners, suppliers, local partners, and the community while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the resort's reputation, guest satisfaction, and market position as a leading boutique luxury destination.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Proven success as a General Manager or senior operational leader within a boutique resort, independent hotel, luxury inn, or small upscale hospitality property.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of a resort operation in a hands-on, owner-operated environment.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and operational reporting.
  • Experience leading food and beverage operations, guest services, housekeeping, and property maintenance.
  • Track record of improving guest satisfaction, increasing revenue, and delivering operational excellence.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.
