Your Responsibilities as an Irrigation Technician
• Front-Line Employee -
o You are quite literally the boots on the ground. You'll be a front-line employee who provides exceptional care of our customers' properties.
o The team looks to you to Repair pipe, heads, valves, wire, controller, and sensors. In addition, you must be able to operate basic equipment safely and troubleshoot.
o The team looks to you to perform basic tasks related to fertilization and lawn treatments at high levels of quality and service delivery.
o You must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions, doing very physical work, able to lift/carry 35-80 pounds often.
o You ensure everything is wrapped up and set to go for the next day.

• Attendance: Might sound basic, but it's critical for every member of the team to set an example on attendance.
• Budget vs Actual Hours: Keeping jobs profitable is dependent on managing the time planned and spent at each job.
• Return Rates: You'll ensure quality control to make sure it's rare to ever need to go back to redo a job.
• Customer Retention: Building great relationships with each customer, and ensuring that they receive exceptional service, will keep them coming back.
• Full Utilization of Software & Processes: This helps make all of the above possible.
Job Requirements for Irrigation/Turf Care Technician
• Prior experience in the landscaping, lawn service, or similar service industries.
• If you don't already have experience, you must be willing to complete training to get all required certifications and licenses within 6 months.
In addition, there are a few additional minimum requirements that are necessary to be considered for this position.
• Clean driving history with experience driving a trailer
Benefits & Pay
The starting pay range for this position is $20.00 to $24.00 and is dependent on your experience as a lawncare or landscaping professional as well as in leading a team.
