Job description

Description
The Tulane Section of Infectious Diseases is seeking a faculty member for a full-time position at a large university-affiliated medical center in the New Orleans Metropolitan area. Candidates will receive an academic appointment at Tulane University School of Medicine at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, dependent on previous academic accomplishments and experience. We are committed to providing outstanding patient care and medical education of students, residents and fellows. This position will include staffing several HIV/ID clinics, and rounding on inpatient ID consultation services at the Tulane Medical Center and University Medical Center of New Orleans. In addition, possible options include Infection Prevention, Travel Clinic, Transplant ID, curriculum development, clinical research and/or quality improvement activities.
Qualifications
  • Excellent clinical skills and a commitment to excellence in patient care
  • Ability to obtain a Louisiana medical license
  • Board Certified Internal Medicine
  • Board Eligible and/or Certification in Infectious Diseases
