Doctrine, Training, Integration Developer - Senior (SR) (DTID - SR)

Full-time, Ft. Leavenworth, KS

Job Description:

  • Review, revise, and develop course curricula for MDTF formations to reflect current doctrine, equipment, and Individual Training Standards, ensuring compliance with TRADOC policy and Army TDC database requirements
  • Ensure all training products are compliant with TRADOC policy and TDC requirements
  • Develop and deliver the following TRADOC policy compliant products
  • Create and deliver Learning Objectives (LO) / Learning Demands (LD) - up to 40 per quarter.
  • Course Management Plans (CMP) - one (1) per course developed up to 15 annually
  • Total Task Inventories - conducted quarterly
  • Individual Critical Task Lists (ICTL) - conducted quarterly
  • Individual Task Analysis Reports - conducted quarterly
  • Lesson Plans (IAW TRADOC Pam 350-70-14) - Inform up to five (5) lesson plans annually as required by TRADOC for changes in curriculum concerning MDTFs
  • Program of Instruction (POI) - up to five (5) POIs annually, up to 25 revisions and reviews
  • Training Support Packages (TSP) - up to five (5) TSPs annually,
  • Deliberate Risk Assessment Worksheets - conducted for each product item such as Training Support Packages
  • Assessments (Formative and Summative) - number of assessments correlated to the developed POIs and TSPs
  • MDTF Mission essential Task List (METL) - conduct MDTF METL assessments quarterly teams and writing teams as required
  • Providing expertise

Responsibilities:

  • Daily collaboration and coordination with Team counterparts and Government stakeholders
  • Providing backup, product review, and input to all deliverables as required or desired
  • Participate in Army MDTF project teams and working groups as required, providing expertise and support to ensure the development of high-quality DOTmLPF-P integration products

Education:

Required:

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university

Desired (one or more):

  • MSS from the Army War College
  • MA from School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS)
  • MA from the National Defense University (NDU)

Experience:

Required:

  • Background in Multi-Domain operations
  • Background in Army or Joint targeting, Information Collection and Employment, and Fires and Effects operations
  • 5+ years of military experience with the knowledge of doctrinal, training, and educational development processes
  • 3+ years of staff experience preparing and briefing products to senior personnel

Desired:

  • Former Combat Training Center experience, preferably as senior fire support observer controller trainer
  • 10+ years of related military experience
  • Experience serving in an air operations center
  • Experience as DFSCOORD at division level/experience operating a FECC

Other Relevant Activities and Achievements:

Desired:

  • Former Training Support Brigade or Battalion Commander
  • Retired Officer (e.g., LT COL)
