Job description

We are TSI Federal a professional solutions contracting and consulting firm supporting several military installations and federal agencies across the nation.
TSI Federal is currently seeking an Administrative Support Specialist II in the Washington D.C. area to support the Department of Justice/Office of Justice Programs (DOJ/OJP).
What You'll Do:
  • Assist in conducting preliminary fingerprinting task using the Civil Applicant System (CAS), and prepare reports on fingerprinting resulting and cost.
  • Support HRD/PSB specialists with drafting supplemental requests for personal statements, as needed.
  • Perform minor duties pertaining to Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12), such as activating or enrolling functions.
  • Assist HRD/PSB specialists in operating a Physical Access System to grant, deny, and monitor access to the physical facilities. To include visitors as they are captured electronically in same system. Duties to support all mission related access management, processes, and procedures.
  • Maintain main PSB phone line and voicemail, and prepare reports, and basic correspondence regarding various personnel security matters.
  • Perform other customer services tasks such as, answering telephone calls, referring calls and visitors to appropriate staff, greeting internal and external personnel visiting the PSB Credentialing Center, and retrieving and distribute PSB mail and packages.

What You Bring:
The Administrative Support Specialist must meet the minimum qualifications:
  • High school diploma
  • Two years of experience working in human resources, personnel security or a law enforcement environment.
  • USA Access or PIV Card processing preferred
