The Rams are looking for a Manager - Membership & Group Sales to guide a team focused on outbound efforts to sell Rams Stadium Seat Licenses (SSLs) and group tickets. Reporting to the Vice President - Ticket & Premium Sales, this individual will be an infectious leader, obsessed with developing and growing talent from within and building out their sales skills. The mission of the Manager - Membership & Group Sales is to teach individuals the fundamentals of B2C & B2B selling and grow the Rams Season Ticket Member & Group Hospitality base. As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of Rams Membership Sales Consultants. You will also own the planning, launch, and oversight of multiple new group sales initiatives as we continue to grow the fan base for the Los Angeles Rams and exceed sell through targets year over year. The role will be looked at for enhancing current group sales and youth programs, leveraging gameday experiences into large quantity ticket purchases, as well as ideating large-scale gift with purchase programs that bring new demographics into the Los Angeles Rams fan base.
Responsibilities:
  • Create and lead the growth of new sales revenue within Stadium Seat Licenses and year over year Group Sales, while being additive to Luxury Suite Rentals
  • Lead, motivate, develop, and grow a team of Membership Sales Consultants - preparing them for future succession and opportunities within the Rams and the sports industry
  • Monitor, manage and evaluate staff performance on an ongoing basis; establish and communicate clear sales revenue and training goals and follow up with your team with appropriate feedback and direction for development
  • Promote a culture of innovation, where new group programs and offerings are created, existing programs are enhanced, and new ideas are constantly explored.
  • Develop department business plan, training strategy, scripts, policies, and procedures
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements in the sales administration and lead generation processes to drive operational efficiency
  • Develop procedures and best in class strategy for prospecting, lead generation, pipeline management, data capture and database management
  • Work with other managers to develop strategic outreach campaigns that drive engagement to several digital Rams assets, specifically leveraging group sales experiences and large-scale gift with purchase programs.
  • Support team members by regularly attending appointments with prospective clients.
  • Develop strong relationships with other departments including Client Services, Community, Game Presentation, CRM, and Stadium Operations
  • Lead recruiting efforts and maintain a strong sales network for future sales talent. Develop relationships with other organizations and local universities to establish a pipeline of future hires.
  • Work all Rams gamedays in a variety of roles including prospecting, sales table, Member experiences or other needs.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least five years of overall relevant experience required, including:
    • 3-4 years of sales experience, with a consistent track record of achieving sales goals/targets
    • 1-2 years sales management experience, preferred. Prior experience overseeing a sales staff with multiple direct reports.
  • Highly motivated self-starter, with strategic thinking and personal leadership skills
  • In-depth understanding of the sales process
  • Ability to work well in a team selling environment and collaborate with others
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and general creativity
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to communicate effectively with prospects, customers, and internal team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, CRM Systems, and Presentation Software

Work Environment:
The Los Angeles Rams is a professional, fast paced business environment. Other environmental conditions:
  • Housing and transportation within 45 miles of Woodland Hills, CA
  • The Rams require 4 days in office per week (Monday - Thursday).
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation with ability to travel to offsite client meetings/presentations. All work-related mileage will be reimbursed
  • Must be flexible to work extend hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Salary: $85,000-$95,000/yr. + bonus based on performance and company target goals
