Job description

The Middle Office Support Specialist is a specialist-level role at the intersection of Trust Administration and Trust Operations at Legacy Private Trust Company, serving as the critical operational link between the two functions and ensuring that client accounts move seamlessly from relationship management through operational execution. This position provides essential support to the trust administration team, playing a central role in the accurate, timely, and compliant administration of personal trust, estate, and corporate trust accounts.

The Middle Office Support Specialist owns the account opening and closing processes end to end, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready at every stage. This role serves as a knowledgeable resource for both the Administration and Operations teams by coordinating across departments, supporting client service continuity, and ensuring that account activity is handled with precision and follow-through at every step.

Beyond day-to-day account administration, the Middle Office Support Specialist plays an active role in building and defining the Middle Office function, working closely with the Senior Support Services Officer to develop processes, establish operational workflows, and strengthen the infrastructure that supports Legacy's continued growth.

This position is well-suited for a detail-oriented, operationally-minded professional who communicates effectively across teams, takes pride in accuracy and follow-through, and brings the initiative and intellectual curiosity to help Legacy build something lasting while deepening their own expertise in trust administration, fiduciary law, and operational excellence.
