Key Responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day Trust Tax operational activities, including NOFD processing, fee file management, account closing support, shared mailbox oversight, and timely resolution of tax-related inquiries.

- Drive process improvement and transformation initiatives across ARES, BPM, Domo, ETL, and related workflow/reporting tools to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and strengthen scalability.

- Partner with Technology, PwC, Trust teams, Operations, and leadership stakeholders to define requirements, support testing, validate data, resolve issues, and prepare future-state workflows for implementation.

- Develop and maintain clear documentation, how-to guides, training materials, and cross-training plans to support continuity, knowledge transfer, and consistent execution across the team.

- Monitor operational performance, service levels, capacity, reporting accuracy, and control effectiveness to identify issues, prioritize improvements, and escalate risks appropriately.

- Support fee governance and financial controls by reviewing fee logic, waiver treatment, account eligibility, overcharge remediation, allocation concerns, and reporting dependencies.

- Manage stakeholder communications with a client-first mindset, ensuring prompt, clear, and accurate responses to internal partners, Trust Officers, advisors, and operational teams.

- Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while balancing service, risk, financial, and compliance priorities.

- Improved automation readiness, reduced manual dependencies, and stronger reporting logic across key workflows.

- Clear documentation, effective knowledge transfer, and improved backup coverage for critical processes.

- Strong stakeholder alignment and timely resolution of issues, inquiries, and escalations.

- Reduced operational, financial, regulatory, and client-impact risk through improved controls and proactive issue management.

- Consistent delivery against business priorities while supporting productivity, simplicity, service quality, and client protection.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Seven or more years of related experience
Preferred Skills/Experience

- Experience in financial services, tax operations, trust operations, custody operations, or a related operational control environment.

- Strong understanding of operational risk, process controls, data integrity, reporting accuracy, documentation standards, and escalation practices.

- Demonstrated ability to manage complex workflows, prioritize competing deadlines, and lead through ambiguity with sound judgment and accountability.

- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams, including Technology, Operations, external vendors, client-facing teams, and senior stakeholders.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and process-design skills.

- Ability to translate business needs into practical requirements, workflow improvements, reporting enhancements, and sustainable operating procedures.

- Familiarity with trust tax processes, tax preparation fees, NOFD workflows, 1099 correction activity, tax reserves, account closing procedures, and external tax provider coordination.

- Experience with ARES, BPM, Domo, ETL processes, workflow automation, data validation, or operational reporting tools.
