Trust & Estates Paralegal


Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a boutique full-service trust and estate law firm that guides families through every stage of planning and administration. We are searching for a Trust & Estates Paralegal. This role is crucial in supporting our attorneys with essential drafting and comprehensive litigation support.

Duties:
  • Draft pleadings, petitions, motions, correspondence, and discovery documents for probate, trust administration, and trust litigation matters.

  • Manage case files, calendaring, court filings, and deadlines from inception through resolution.

  • Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties to facilitate case progression.

  • Review and summarize records, conduct legal research, and assist with hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.

  • Provide direct support to attorneys in all aspects of trust, estate, and probate matters.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of Paralegal experience in Probate, Trust Administration, Estate Planning, Trust Litigation, or related practice areas.

  • Must qualify as a Paralegal under California Business & Professions Code §6450 and be current on all continuing education requirements.

  • Experience drafting probate petitions, pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents.

  • Knowledge of California probate court procedures, filings, and calendaring requirements.

  • Ability to independently manage matters, prioritize deadlines, and work directly with attorneys and clients.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, court e-filing systems, and legal case management software.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and client service orientation.
