Responsibilities:
  • Develop case strategies and recommendations that align with client goals and legal objectives
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, parenting plans, financial disclosures, settlement agreements, and other family law documents
  • Manage a family law caseload involving divorce, child custody, parenting time, child support, maintenance, and property division matters
  • Advocate for clients in emotionally sensitive situations while pursuing practical and effective resolutions
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing compassionate guidance and timely updates throughout the legal process
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and outside experts to build strong cases and achieve favorable outcomes
  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and negotiations while advocating for their legal and personal interests
  • Conduct legal research and analyze Colorado statutes, case law, and procedural rules to support litigation and settlement strategies
  • Maintain accurate case files, documentation, and deadlines in accordance with firm and court requirements

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of family law experience handling domestic relations matters
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple active cases
  • Strong understanding of Colorado family law, including divorce, child custody, support, parenting time, and property division issues
  • Must reside within the Denver Metropolitan Area and be available for court appearances and client meetings as required
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple active cases in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong client relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to draft legal documents, motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience representing clients in hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and contested family law proceedings
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in the Colorado Bar
