ABOUT THE JOB

In this role you will have the opportunity to ensure safe material handling duties.  Our fast-paced work environment requires that our forklift and other powered industrial trucks are operated in a safe and efficient manner.  You will play a key role in ensuring we meet daily production demands while also complying with our expectations for safe PIT operation. 

YOUR ROLE:  

The bullet points below reflect roughly 80% of your job. We are a fast-paced company, you may be pulled in a variety of different directions with tasks added or changed.

  • Safely operate powered industrial truck - always putting associate safety above production output. 
  • Observe and defer to pedestrians in your work vicinity.
  • Move product utilizing various types of powered industrial trucks, including sit down, stand up, and walkie-style. 
  • Utilize Handheld scanner and E-21 or Great Plains to accurately place and retrieve needed materials in a timely manner.
  • Utilize tablet PCs and MES to ensure accurate production status to management team.
  • Responsible for daily PIT Inspections. 
  • Must keep plus level eligibility
  • Supplying skins to BDL/CDL/Saws

Other duties as assigned or defined by the area Supervisor or Group Lead

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $47,860 USD - $57,200 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
