Night Shift Maintenance Technician
Location: Franklin, WI
Schedule: 5:30 PM - 6:00 AM
Salary: $72,000 - $82,000
Duties:
• Support all maintenance operations, including machinery, HVAC systems, and boiler operations, ensuring reliable and efficient performance.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime, reduce parts and labor usage, and proactively address potential issues.
• Conduct continuous assessments of the manufacturing facility, identifying and executing necessary repairs, improvements, and equipment upgrades.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical charts to support maintenance and repair activities.
• Collaborate closely with the Production Manager, Supervisors, and QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance-related concerns.
• Follow the Preventive Maintenance program and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and work orders.
• Provide 24/7 emergency support, including equipment repair, stabilization, and mobilization of necessary resources.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are cleared from production lines prior to start-up, and perform re-cleaning or re-start procedures following mechanical breakdowns.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required; additional technical or higher education preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive plant maintenance experience, ideally within a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; Spanish proficiency preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to apply mathematical concepts to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
• Willingness and ability to work additional hours as required to meet production demands.
• Physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods, working in freezer environments as needed, and lifting 10–50 lbs.
