Job description

Are you mechanically inclined and understand the ins and outs of boat mechanics and aftermarket parts?
Do you have at least 3 years' experience installing aftermarket electronics on boats and repair? If you do not, don't apply because you will be rejected for the opportunity on sight.
Do you understand the importance of reliability and dedication to a service mindset when working in the technical role you have?
The Boat House of Lauderdale Lakes is looking for a team player to join our team of energetic, fun, customer-focused individuals. This position would be stationed in our Elkhorn, WI shop the majority of the time with some minimal travel to our other locations as needed for specialized coverage. The Boat House Group has multiple accolades, to include being a Top 100 Dealer.
The Experienced Marine Technician I want to meet will have the following necessary qualities :
  • 2-3 years marine rigging experience required;
  • Prior experience working with Outboard and/or Inboard Motors required;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Ability to listen intently to the directives of leadership and interpret a variety of communication styles; and
  • Dedication to excellent customer service.

The Experienced Rigging Technician who I really want to meet will also have experience with:
  • Trolling Motors;
  • Power Poles;
  • GPS knowledge and installation;
  • Hanging motors;
  • Hold a valid FL Driver's License and be acceptable to our insurer.
  • Consistently show a positive attitude and be a genuine team player.

Pay is dependent on years of past marine service experience.
