Advanced Gastroenterologist – On-Call

Tripler Army Medical Center | Honolulu, Hawaii

Nurses Etc. Staffing is seeking an experienced Advanced Gastroenterologist to provide on-call coverage at Tripler Army Medical Center in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Advanced GI physician to provide specialized care in a mission-driven military medical environment while enjoying everything Hawaii has to offer.
Position Highlights

  • On-call Advanced Gastroenterology position
  • Practice at Tripler Army Medical Center
  • Provide advanced GI and endoscopic services to military service members, their families, and beneficiaries
  • Work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary medical team
  • Enjoy the opportunity to live and work in Honolulu, Hawaii

Required Qualifications

  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Completion of a 3-year ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
  • Completion of an Advanced Endoscopy fellowship approved by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE)
  • Actively practiced as an Advanced Gastroenterologist within the past 2 years
  • ERCP experience: Minimum of 50 ERCP procedures within the past 12 months with >90% cannulation success rate
  • EUS experience: Minimum of 50 EUS procedures annually with >90% success rate
  • Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or American Board of Surgery (ABS) in Gastroenterology
  • Current BLS certification
  • Valid, unrestricted medical license in one of the 50 U.S. states, D.C., Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
  • Must meet all credentialing and privileging requirements
