Truck Buyer Acquisition Specialist - Automotive

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Truck Buyer / Acquisition Specialist to help source and purchase trucks for our inventory. This role focuses on identifying potential sellers, negotiating purchases, and ensuring we acquire vehicles at competitive prices.

Job Responsibilities

  • Source trucks from private sellers, fleets, auctions, and online marketplaces

  • Respond to inbound leads from people looking to sell their trucks

  • Contact potential sellers via phone, email, and online platforms

  • Evaluate vehicle condition, history, and market value

  • Negotiate purchase prices and close deals

  • Coordinate inspections, title transfers, and logistics

  • Maintain accurate records of leads and purchases in the CRM

  • Build relationships with local contractors, fleet owners, and businesses

Education and/or Experience

  • Experience in automotive buying, sales, or vehicle appraisal preferred

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills

  • Knowledge of truck values, trims, and market pricing is a plus

  • Comfortable using CRM systems and online marketplaces (Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, etc.)

  • Self-motivated and results-driven

  • Valid driver's license
