TriCare Medical Transportation is South Jersey's premier medical transportation company. We are a large-scale 24/7 operation with over 300 employees and 130 vehicles, providing service from our headquarters in Pleasantville, NJ and two satellite locations in Vineland and Cherry Hill.

 
 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Diagnoses and repairs on our fleet of vehicles including but not limited to:
  • General and preventative maintenance
  • Brakes, drivability, emissions, steering and suspension.
  • Electrical troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Transmission removal and replacement.
  • Engine tear town and/or removal and replacement when necessary.
  • Inspecting vehicles and identifying signs of wear and parts that require service or replacement.
  • Repair or schedule necessary repairs with the Fleet Manager.
  • Log all repairs/ service in our work order system.
  • Maintain shop cleanliness and inventory of supplies.
  • Work collaboratively with our Fleet Manager as well as our Operation Managers to ensure safe transportation for our patients as well as our drivers.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Knowledge and experience with Ford E Series, Ford Transit, Dodge Caravans.
  • Must have own tools
  • Driver License
  • ASE certification preferred 
  • Minimum 5 years of documented mechanic experience on light, medium, and heavy equipment 
  • Satisfactory driving history / Clean driving record.
  • Background check.
  • Negative Drug Test required
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Some holidays may be required.
