Lead HVAC Installer

Triangle Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical | Bellefonte, PA

Pay: $25–$35 per hour plus incentives (Our installers average an additional $1,500 per month in incentives!)

Experienced HVAC installers know that great work depends on more than technical ability. It takes accurate job information, the right equipment and materials, dependable warehouse support, and a company that gives its installation teams the resources needed to do the job correctly.

At Triangle Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical, we provide HVAC, plumbing, drain, and electrical services to homeowners throughout Central Pennsylvania. Our full-service structure creates steady residential demand and gives our field teams the support of an organized dispatch operation, a fully stocked warehouse, parts runners, and experienced professionals across multiple trades.

We’re looking for a skilled Lead HVAC Installer who can take ownership of residential installations from start to finish, maintain high workmanship standards, and help develop less-experienced team members.

If you take pride in clean, professional installations and want steady work, strong support, and the opportunity to earn additional incentives based on performance, Triangle may be the right place for your next move.

Why Join Triangle?
  • Competitive hourly pay of $25–$35

  • Installers average an additional $1,500 per month in incentives

  • Steady, year-round residential installation demand

  • Fully stocked warehouse and parts-runner support

  • Clean, fully stocked company vehicle

  • Affordable Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance

  • Paid Time Off

  • 401(k) with Company Match

  • Parental Leave

  • Annual Performance Reviews

  • Ongoing Technical and Leadership Development

  • Training at our corporate training facility

  • Career Advancement Opportunities

  • Support from an established HVAC, plumbing, drain, and electrical team

What You’ll Do
  • Lead residential HVAC installation and replacement projects from start to finish.

  • Install HVAC equipment according to manufacturer specifications, applicable codes, and company standards.

  • Design, fabricate, modify, and install ductwork and duct fittings as required.

  • Verify and load the equipment, materials, and tools needed for each job.

  • Direct and mentor an apprentice while supporting the development of their technical skills.

  • Perform equipment startups, system testing, airflow verification, and commissioning.

  • Identify and communicate equipment, material, or job-scope concerns promptly.

  • Complete all required paperwork, job notes, equipment records, and documentation accurately.

  • Protect customers’ homes and maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites.

  • Explain system operation and basic maintenance expectations to homeowners.

  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and inventory of the assigned company vehicle.

  • Work safely and efficiently while following company policies and procedures.

  • Represent Triangle with professionalism, integrity, courtesy, and respect.

  • Remain flexible as schedules and departmental needs change.

What We’re Looking For
  • Previous residential HVAC installation experience.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, ductwork, airflow, and installation practices.

  • Ability to lead installations and take ownership of jobs from start to finish.

  • Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively.

  • Ability to coach and mentor an apprentice.

  • Strong organization, multitasking, and jobsite problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

  • Professional attitude and respect for customers and their homes.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on installation demand.

  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and regularly stand, bend, stoop, reach, and travel to customer locations.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means completing clean, dependable installations, ensuring each system operates correctly, and leading your apprentice effectively. You’ll maintain high standards for safety, workmanship, documentation, and customer care while helping Triangle deliver the professional experience homeowners expect.
