Tria Orthopedics is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Wayne, New Jersey. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist in our outpatient office, you will have the opportunity to work directly with patients in a hands-on setting, employing various therapeutic techniques and modalities. • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to develop personalized treatment plans that promote recovery and overall health.
• Implement a variety of orthopedic rehabilitation techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to manage pain and restore function.
• Monitor patient progress through regular assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Work cooperatively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment expectations, therapeutic exercises, and preventative measures to safeguard against further injury.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapist assistants and technicians in executing treatment plans while ensuring compliance with professional standards.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly and timely within our electronic health record system to maintain accurate and accessible patient information.

This role primarily focuses on providing orthopedic care to adolescents, adults, and older adults. While experience with pediatric patients may be necessary for specialized roles within our team, the majority of your caseload will involve working with adults recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. You will have the opportunity to positively impact patients' lives by restoring their mobility and enhancing their quality of life.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited program in physical therapy.
• Active state licensure or certification in physical therapy which is essential for practice in New Jersey.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in orthopedic physical therapy, enabling you to effectively manage a variety of cases.
• Strong foundational knowledge in orthopedic assessment, care planning, and therapeutic modalities.
• Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

• CPR certification is preferred but subject to Tria Orthopedics’ policy requirements.
• Experience using electronic health record systems to document treatments and patient progress efficiently.
• Experience in a fast-paced outpatient setting with a strong focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
