Job Summary:

The Outside Sales Specialist is a full-time time position for our Gaylord branch. We are looking for an individual with previous sales experience in building materials, who can develop strong relationships with new and current customers. This individual should be a competitive self-starter, and comfortable interacting with customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate new sales opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Developing and maintaining good working relationships with customers
  • Work to positively impact product penetration and mix with all customers to improve company performance
  • Provide outstanding customer service and post sales satisfaction, facilitating long-term relationships for repeat business
  • Working closely with the other salespeople within the company

Qualifications:

  • Strong sales experience
  • Experience in building material industry preferred not required
  • Outstanding relationship building skills
  • Excellent Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must be dependable
  • Effective communication skills
