Job description

Clinical Radiologist (Assistant/Associate/Professor - Radiology - Porter Medical)

The Department of Radiology at the University of Vermont Health (UVMH), in affiliation with The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont, is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist at Porter Medical Center (PMC) in Middlebury, Vermont. This is a 1.0FTE position to provide comprehensive radiology services.

Job Highlights:

  • Interpret all diagnostic radiology studies for adult patients including mammography as well as basic pediatric imaging.
  • Limited procedural offerings will be assisted by an APP.
  • Primarily onsite, with hybrid opportunities available.
  • Intermittent pager call with no weekend or overnight diagnostic call.
  • Loan repayment assistance is available through the UVMH Medical Group Inc.
  • Teaching of medical students and radiology residents is possible if desired.
  • Eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package provided by the UVMH Medical Group Inc.
  • Additional benefits such as vacation time, CME days and allowances are pro-rated accordingly (UVMH Medical Group Inc.)

  • PMC is a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital that provides routine, urgent and emergent care for the people of the mid and southern portions of the Champlain Valley.

Position Details for 1.0FTE:

  • This is a Clinical Scholar Pathway position, with the Rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor.
  • Applicants must have completed an ABR-certified or eligible fellowship to be considered.

Anticipated Pay Range - The anticipated salary ranges for this position are:

  • Assistant Professor: $485,800 – $502,800
  • Associate Professor: $495,800 – $512,800
  • Professor: $505,800 – $522,800

The referenced salary ranges reflect the combined total range based on dual employment by both the University of Vermont and the University of Vermont Health Medical Group. The salary ranges do not include all components of compensation. Therefore, the actual compensation paid to the selected candidate may vary from the salary ranges stated herein.
