Job description

TRG Management, a premier property management company experienced with all types of housing, including subsidized, workforce and affordable, mid-rises, high-rises, luxury rentals, and single-family. Today we manage approximately 20,000 units across several states and our current management portfolio contains over 100 properties. Through technical and mechanical labor, this role is responsible for ensuring that the physical features of the property's building, grounds, facilities, and common areas meet the community's standards for aesthetic, cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
โ€ข Develop and implement supportive service programming in collaboration with residents, management, and local community service providers.
โ€ข Provide ongoing outreach services to identify individuals who would benefit from services, recruit volunteers, and identify program and service gaps.
โ€ข Act as a liaison to local human service providers and represent TRG Management on various task forces and community groups.
โ€ข Coordinate the delivery of services with local human service providers.
โ€ข Maintain all necessary information regarding services to residents.
โ€ข Oversee and/or provide crisis intervention, case management, and follow-up services to referrals from management, residents, or other agencies.
โ€ข Support resident efforts in community building initiatives.
โ€ข Identify funding for new and expanded programs in the development.
โ€ข Assist other department staff in understanding and participating in the goals and programs initiated by resident services.
โ€ข Attend all required meetings and prepare and participate in additional and/or special projects as required from time to time by TRG Management.
  • Qualifications
    The Resident Service Coordinator position requires the ability to work in a complex and nontraditional human service setting with a diverse population. A combination of education and experience that results in knowledge of the human service system and experience working with children and families, persons with disabilities, and the elderly is essential.
  • Prior experience working with Affordable Housing preferred
  • Work well as a member of a group
  • Self-motivated
  • Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well
  • High School Diploma or equivalent plus two years experience working in the human services /social services field or a Bachelor's degree in the human services/social services field plus one year of work experience as a Resident Service Coordinator
