LGT Capital Partners (USA) Inc. is seeking to hire a Multi-Asset / Multi Alternatives analyst for our two-year program starting in July 2025 in our New York office location.
Primary Functions of the Multi-Asset / Multi Alternatives Analyst role include:
  • Support Senior Portfolio Managers in investment management of Multi-Asset funds and institutional mandates (development into deputy Portfolio Management role);
  • Support with portfolio management task including routing trades for funds, direct securities and derivates, currency hedging and cash management
  • Liaise with in-house asset-class specific research and investment teams;
  • Conduct multi-asset class desk research;
  • Collaborate in projects and task related to investment management;
  • Support client servicing and business development.

Requirements

  • University degree (bachelor's degree or higher)
  • Relevant prior internship experience including: investment banking, asset management, private banking, business consulting
  • Essential technical skills include solid background in finance, detail-orientation, and strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Willingness to complete CFA, CAIA, FRM or similar program;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Good team player who can also function independently
  • Energetic, flexible, and capable of working under time constraints
  • Sharp analytical mind with the ability to communicate and present findings clearly and concisely
  • Ability to work with colleagues at other global offices of the firm, and to manage communications and schedules accordingly
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Compensation & Benefits
The Company anticipates that the annual base salary for this New York City-based position could range from $95,000.00 to $105,000.00. The actual annual base salary paid for this position will depend on factors, such as the skill, experience, and qualifications of the chosen candidate for the position.
