DNV USA INC. is seeking a Corporate Real Estate Specialist, to join its best-in-class Real Estate team.The chosen candidate will beresponsible for managing the real estate portfolio and property management of 40+ facilities in 6 countries through a life cycle perspective. From acquisition of new real estate through the ongoing management of the property to its eventual disposal. Expert will be responsible for a portfolio that enables better employee productivity, create flexible work environments, reduce real estate costs, and takes due consideration to sustainability. This position is part a Global Procurement & Real Estate team.
What you will do
  • Responsible for End-to-End Management of DNV North America's Corporate Real Estate Portfolio.
  • Serves as main point of contact between DNV and broker during lease negotiations and Landlord or Property Management team throughout term of the lease.
  • Works with DNV legal to negotiate favorable multi-year lease terms for DNV.
  • Ensure all leases adhere to the DNV Global and Regional Real Estate polices and guidelines.
  • Leads business areas and local team in evaluating all prospective locations and guides them when evaluating locations for operational and financial impact.
  • Responsible for the completion of the real estate lease evaluations, compliance, and cost effectiveness of all projects.
  • Presents and collaborates with Global Real Estate when evaluating all prospective locations.
  • Develops strong senior management relationships by actively engaging with the business area requirements and regularly providing accurate and timely completions of all leases.
  • Regular rent and space analysis of portfolio for its performance.
  • Proactively review and present savings opportunities for improved portfolio optimization.
  • Assess real estate market conditions, trends, and indicators to optimize asset goals.
  • Provides support for facility operational needs.

Qualifications
What Is Required
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration required.
    • Concentration in Real Estate Management preferred.
  • 1-2 years in corporate real estate required.
  • 1-2 years in project management preferred.
  • Ability to read architectural floor plans.
  • Ability to travel to tour locations and help manage moves - 10-15%.
    • Weekend Travel may be required.
  • Skilled in MS Office Suites (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Proven negotiation skills and ability to influence and gain consensus.
  • Well developed communication and relationship building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, while continuing to meet deadlines.
  • Strategic thinker with a high work ethic, level of responsibility & professionalism
  • Valid driver's license
