Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team at NDU. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Trellix/HBSS endpoint security solutions and a strong understanding of enterprise security practices. This role involves monitoring, managing, and enhancing endpoint protection systems to safeguard organizational assets.

Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain endpoint security solutions, specifically Trellix/HBSS Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in a timely manner Perform threat analysis and vulnerability assessments Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and procedures Troubleshoot and resolve endpoint security issues Collaborate with IT and security teams to improve overall security posture Maintain documentation for security processes and configurations Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience working with Trellix/HBSS (Host-Based Security System) Strong understanding of endpoint protection, threat detection, and incident response Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices Experience with security monitoring tools and log analysis Good problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP) Experience in a defense or government environment Familiarity with SIEM tools and network security concepts
