Georgia Right of Way – Utility Line Clearance Contractor is seeking to fill local full-time Groundman and Bucket Operator (Tree Trimmer) positions immediately. This job post is for the GREENSBORO, GA area.

Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Using a wood chipper to remove limbs and debris from job sites
  • Using a chainsaw to remove trees and brush
  • Assisting in Roping/Rigging Operations
  • Daily equipment maintenance
  • Begin working to obtain Class-A CDL

We are seeking motivated individuals who enjoy the freedom of an outdoor work environment and seek to build a career in tree work. We typically work 10-hour days 7:00am to 5:30pm; Monday thru Thursday (subject to change per customer request) We also provide Emergency Storm Clearance services as needed. Our employees must be able to work overtime and irregular hours at times.

Our employees are trained in chainsaw operation, tree felling, roping/rigging, bucket operation, tree climbing, tree removal, and proper pruning techniques.

A CDL License is required to move up within the company. New employees must begin working to obtain their CDL-A Permit within 60-days and are given a raise upon completion. Furthermore, we will assist you in obtaining the ELDT certification and completing the CDL Road Test.

On-the-job skills and safety training will be provided along with plenty of room for advancement. Hourly Pay is determined upon experience and qualifications.

All applicants must be able to pass a drug screen and DOT Physical
