Job description

Full time position, mostly 6:30a - 3p.  Every other weekend and some holidays required.   

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cold food, set up dining area, assemble resident trays and pick up food delivery carts in the Health Center.
  • Coordinate take-out meals for Village residents with Resident Health. Contact residents for meal orders and complete menus.
  • Complete daily paperwork, including menu pick up, tray line tally sheets and health care production sheets. Input meal counts into the CardWatch system after each meal service period.
  • Provide direct dining service and assist residents in Health Center dining rooms.
  • Bus and reset the dining rooms according to established guidelines. Ware-wash dishes in Health Care pantries and adhere to established sanitation guidelines.
  • Understand and comply with medical emergency procedures in all dining rooms.
  • Able to work without supervision, maintain professional manner and appearance, and participate in resident nutritional care.
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitation of tray line, Health Care service pantries and dining rooms according to established guidelines and regulatory agencies.
  • Assist in the training and orientation of new Health Care Servers.
  • Perform duties as Dining Room Host. Check and confirm reservations with residents, create station charts for dining rooms, oversee staff assignments as pertaining to the station chart and schedule in the Health Care dining rooms to ensure completion of tasks.
