Job description

Travel Paramedic

Travel Paramedic for a 13-week assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Provides emergency medical care in pre-hospital and hospital settings. Supports healthcare teams and ensures patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emergency medical care to patients in pre-hospital and hospital settings, following protocols and ensuring safety
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess conditions and implement treatment plans
  • Maintain and inspect all medical equipment and supplies to ensure readiness
  • Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately and promptly
  • Execute patient transfer procedures efficiently while maintaining high safety standards
  • Ensure patient safety throughout all care activities
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current State Paramedic License
  • CPR certification
  • EMS certification
  • Minimum 1 year of paramedic experience in an emergency medical environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical fitness to handle emergency situations
Preferred Skills:
  • Additional EMT or paramedic certification preferred
  • Experience in hospital or pre-hospital settings preferred
