Position Summary: We are looking for a versatile professional drone pilot to join our team in a dual-purpose role combining hands-on drone piloting with day-to-day office operations. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety in their work - spending part of the week flying missions in the field and the rest keeping our office running smoothly.

Reports to: Division Manager Essential Functions: This role has two distinct sets of duties: Drone Operations: Plan, prepare, and execute drone flights for aerial photography, mapping, surveying, and/or inspection work Travel to field locations to conduct flight operations; approximately 7 to 9 overnights per month. Conduct pre-flight equipment checks, calibration, and post-flight maintenance Ensure all flights comply with FAA regulations and company safety protocols Process and organize flight data, imagery, and mapping outputs for internal and client use Maintain accurate flight logs and equipment records Keep drone equipment, batteries, and accessories inventoried and in good working order Office Operations: Manage scheduling, correspondence, and filing Order supplies, coordinate with vendors, and maintain office equipment Help manage interactions with customers; handle incoming calls and emails Perform data entry and support invoicing to customers Assist with onboarding logistics, meeting coordination, and general team support Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate required At least one year of experience piloting drones for commercial purposes (photography, mapping, surveying, or inspections) Strong organizational skills and comfort managing administrative tasks Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to multitask and shift comfortably between fieldwork and office duties Strong attention to detail Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for on-site flight assignments) Experience with drone mapping/photogrammetry software (e.g., DroneDeploy, Pix4D) Prior office administration or operations experience Basic photo/video editing skills Ability to pass and maintain a current DOT physical Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis Comfort workout outdoors year-round in cold and hot conditions OSHA 10 Certification Compensation: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour (Employees receive a generous per diems when traveling) Benefits: Paid holidays Paid time off Health, dental & vision insurance Employee Assistance Program 401(k) plan with employer match Prescription eyewear coverage Annual boot allowance Employee referral program.
