Traveling LPN

Location: Burlington, Vermont

Company: Quality Staffing

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Traveling LPN to join our team at Quality Staffing. As a Traveling LPN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment while traveling to new locations. Our competitive pay, housing, and meal stipends will ensure that you're well taken care of throughout your assignment.

Essential Functions:

• Participate in the admission, discharge, and transfers of residents, observing for changes in their status and notifying the physician and resident's family or representative as needed
• Transcribe physician orders to the medical record and carry out orders as written, preparing and administering medications as per physicians' orders and observing for adverse effects
• Provide nursing leadership to nursing personnel assigned to the unit, providing direct care skills such as wound care, suctioning, and IV administration
• Perform rounds to ensure resident needs are being met and personnel are performing their assigned duties, collaborating with other members of the interdisciplinary team as needed
• Initiate, review, and update care plans as required, promoting teamwork, mutual respect, and effective communication

Additional Tasks:

• Treat all residents with dignity and respect, promoting and protecting all residents' rights
• Establish a culture of compliance by adhering to all facility policies and procedures
• Follow appropriate safety and hygiene measures to protect residents and themselves, maintaining confidentiality of protected health information
• Report noncompliance with policies, procedures, regulations, or breaches in confidentiality to appropriate personnel

Licensures/Certifications:

• Current valid LPN license in TX
• Valid CPR certification

Experience:

• At least one (1) year nursing experience preferred
• Evidence of continuing education or special preparation or experience in gerontological nursing and/or long-term care nursing is desirable

Salary: $2000 WEEKLY
