ABBTECH Professional Resources and our partner Dell, are looking for 2 Computer Technicians for a project in Minneapolis, MN.

Project Details:
  • Pay Rate: $18-20/hr - Depending on Experience
  • Duration: Short-term contract - 2 pilots and 5 weeks of actual deployments
  • Dates: 7/7-8 (Pilot 1), 714-15 (Pilot 2) and 7/28-8/28 (Deployments)
  • Schedule: Tuesday's and Thursdays - Start time 2:30pm (Swing shift deployments), Wednesdays and Fridays - Start time 8:00am (Post deployment support); will discuss schedule more in-depth during interview
  • Location: Minneapolis, MN
  • Requirements: All positions require a successful completion of a background check & possible drug test (we do not check credit) - ABBTECH pays for both checks
  • Certification Requirements: CompTIA A+ or equivalent
  • Duties:
    • De-Installation and Installation of new units
    • Post-deployment support
  • The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position's responsibilities; the candidate's experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.??
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Required Qualification:
  • High School Diploma and 1 year of experience with at least a CompTIA A+ certification or at least 2 years of experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience working as an End User Computing PC/Laptop Deployment Team
  • Possesses proven customer service background.
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions and update tracking systems as directed
  • Possesses good analytical and communication skills
  • Possesses strong ability to work independently
  • Able to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions and scripts
  • Detailed oriented, independent, self-starter and customer service oriented
  • Must have the ability to lift up-to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to be on your feet ALL DAY and include up to walking the entire building, walking to different buildings and up and down stairs.
Desired Qualification:
  • MCP, MCSE, CNE or Network+ certification is a plus
  • Certification in various hardware platforms may optionally be required for servicing hardware issues.
