Murrieta Primary Care Clinic Seeks a Bilingual (not required) Medical Assistant to work in our office located in Murrieta , CA
Candidate will support the Health Care Provider by taking vitals, assisting in medical examinations and all duties that relates being a Medical Assistant. Also with experience in Chronic Care Management.
Candidates must have experience working with GLP-1 medications and/or weight-loss clinics or medically supervised weight-management programs. Experience educating patients about injections, medication schedules, treatment follow-up, and weight-management progress is strongly preferred 
Responsibilities:
Example duties include, but aren't limited to:
- Prepare patients for consult and assist Doctor with the examination and/or procedure
- Takes patient vital signs and obtains patient intake information; Enter vitals to EMR
- Performs clinical procedures such as blood draws, vaccines, nebulizer treatments, ear lavages, or EKGs.
- Perform laboratory and screening tests performed in a medical office such as visual acuity, audiometric screening,
Snellen tests, spirometry tests.
- Effectively communicates with patient to determine their needs and provides education and resources.
- Ensures exam rooms are stocked, cleaned and set up for examinations and procedures as directed by the Doctor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
- 4 years in a fast past-pace clinical office environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical laboratory procedures and healthcare operations and work flow.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience in using EMR System
- Experience in Chronic Care Management
