Job Description & Requirements

  • Shift: 10 hours, nights
  • Employment Type: Travel
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Blood Bank experience (Hard Stop)
  • Must be a seasoned Blood Bank traveler; first-time travelers will not be considered
  • Current/recent Blood Bank experience within the last 2 years required (Hard Stop)
  • ASCP Blood Bank (BB) Certification required
  • Epic experience required (Hard Stop)
  • Experience with Blood Bank software required (any platform); WellSky and Immucor experience preferred
  • Trauma Level I hospital experience required
  • Teaching hospital experience preferred
  • Experience working in a large acute care hospital (300+ beds) required
  • Must be comfortable handling 30-50 samples per day, including high-volume Type & Screen and Crossmatch testing
  • Ability to work independently on night shifts with minimal supervision
