Job description

Sergeant | Second Shift (1400-2200, M-F) Shields Point, LLC has an opening for a second shift supervisor (Sergeant). The Sergeant will direct shift personnel to ensure that they provide a safe, secure environment for customers and employees. The Sergeant will oversee comprehensive site surveillance, credential verification, and vehicle inspections.

The Sergeant will manage the regulated flow of employees, visitors, and equipment while enforcing physical security protocols mandated by the FBI Site Security Manager. The Sergeant will manage diverse security operations to protect personnel, property, and restricted assets. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Directs shift personnel to ensure a safe, secure environment for customers and employees.

Oversees patrolling, monitoring premises, inspecting vehicles, developing incident reports, validating personnel entering the site/facility, and preventing access to restricted areas. Oversees the control of the entrance and exit of all employees, visitors, equipment, and material and exchange credentials. Ensures physical security of FBI sites, property, and equipment as required by the FBI Site Security Manager.

Maintains a log of all significant security events and incidents including actions taken during each shift. Ensures to report attempts to penetrate the FBI sites, offices, evidence of theft or vandalism, safety, and fire hazards, or incidents to appropriate law enforcement and/or emergency response agencies in accordance with emergency instructions. Ensures to report suspicious or unusual worker behavior amongst the FBI employees, visitors, or others through the Security Manager, or Direct Supervisor, to the FBI Site Security Manager and notes this activity in logs.

Pay Rate: $26.51Must be a US Citizen. Must possess and maintain a current Secret Clearance and be able to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance. Must fluently speak, read, understand, and write the English language

Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug test. Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must meet physical health/stamina requirements and pass medical exam.

Must be able to demonstrate excellent skill using Microsoft applications and/or Google applications. Must be capable of learning and open to learning new computer programs and applications. Must be able to successfully complete approximately 40-80 hrs.
