Job Summary:

This position supports daily transportation operations by maintaining accurate records, tracking deliveries, coordinating with internal teams and drivers, and ensuring documentation is completed correctly and on time.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Supports transportation scheduling and coordination by assisting with daily route assignments, driver communication, and delivery tracking.
• Maintains transportation documentation, including load records, delivery confirmations, pickup logs, and vehicle condition reports.
• Coordinates internally with Auction Operations, Sales, and Customer Service to ensure transportation requests and priorities are executed accurately.
• Communicates with dealers, customers, and internal stakeholders to confirm pickup/delivery details and resolve scheduling issues.
• Tracks transportation activity in systems and spreadsheets, ensuring accurate entry of route updates, delivery status, and service completion.
• Supports compliance and recordkeeping requirements, including maintaining organized files for DOT-related documentation as required.
• Assists with processing transportation-related invoices, paperwork reconciliation, and vendor documentation as assigned.
• Prepares regular reporting for leadership, including delivery performance, outstanding requests, and operational summaries.
• Supports department organization by maintaining supplies, documentation templates, and process tools used by drivers and transportation staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Maintains confidentiality and professionalism when handling customer and operational information.
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, fleet operations, or delivery coordination.
• At least 2 years of experience supervising drivers or transportation/logistics staff.
• CDL experience or DOT compliance experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to remain in a stationary position and work at a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to move throughout auction facilities, lots, and transportation areas as needed for operational oversight.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions during transportation coordination activities.
