Dispatch Supervisor - Metals Recycling and Transportation - Base Salary to 75k/year - Warrensville, PA

  • Our client, a metals recycling and materials processing organization, is seeking a Dispatch Supervisor to oversee daily transportation scheduling, driver coordination, and shipment execution across yard and customer locations. This role supports production flow by aligning trucking operations with inbound and outbound material movement.
  • This is a hands-on, high-volume dispatch role coordinating multiple truck types and ensuring efficient routing, scheduling, and communication between operations and drivers.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily dispatch operations, including driver scheduling, routing, and start times
  • Schedule and manage inbound and outbound loads to support production and shipping timelines
  • Dispatch and track a variety of equipment including van trailers, dump trailers, and flatbeds
  • Communicate with operations and yard leadership to align material readiness and shipping priorities
  • Maintain accurate load sheets, dispatch logs, and shipping documentation within dispatch systems or spreadsheets
  • Coordinate with customers and vendors regarding pickup and delivery schedules
  • Monitor daily trucking activity to ensure on-time performance and efficient equipment utilization

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or transportation coordination
  • Experience scheduling drivers, routing trucks, or coordinating daily freight movement
  • Familiarity with fleet equipment such as dump trailers, flatbeds, or van trailers

Compensation:
