Job description

Are you an experienced dispatcher who knows how to keep drivers, freight, and customers on track? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced transportation environment where plans can change quickly and strong communication is key? If so, this Transportation Dispatch position could be a great fit!

This is a full-time opportunity with a growing transportation and logistics company. In this role, you'll coordinate drivers and freight traveling across state lines, track shipments from pickup through delivery, communicate ETAs, and help troubleshoot delays or changes along the way.

Transportation Dispatch Responsibilities:
• Dispatch and coordinate drivers transporting freight across multiple states
• Monitor active loads and track shipments from pickup through final delivery
• Communicate with drivers regarding routes, pickup and delivery instructions, ETAs, delays, and schedule changes
• Provide customers and internal teams with accurate shipment updates and delivery information
• Troubleshoot issues including late drivers, missed pickups, delivery changes, traffic delays, and other transportation challenges
• Update shipment statuses, driver notes, delivery information, and other documentation within the company's system
• Manage multiple drivers, loads, phone calls, emails, and changing priorities throughout the shift

Transportation Dispatch Requirements:
• Previous dispatch experience within transportation, trucking, freight, or logistics required
• Experience dispatching drivers or coordinating freight across state lines / OTR strongly preferred
• Experience tracking shipments and communicating ETAs, delays, and delivery updates
• Comfortable communicating directly with truck drivers throughout the day and following up when updates are needed
• Experience with TMS, GPS/ELD tracking, routing, dispatch, or similar transportation systems preferred
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills with the ability to adjust quickly when plans change
• Professional phone and email communication with strong attention to detail and follow-through

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

Pay: Starting $23 or DOE 

Location: Phoenix, AZ
