Job description

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Full Time Clinical Support Assistant/Transporterunder the direction of the Manager, Patient Transport/Customer Service or authorizeddesignee, the Transporter will safely and efficiently transport patients throughout the MedicalCenter.

EDUCATION:High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Successful completion of a nurse aide program preferred.

EXPERIENCE:Nurse aide experience preferred but not required. Previous experience working with the public and or patients and their families helpful.

SKILLS:Verbal ability required to communicate with patients and understand instructions received from nursing staff. Ability to lift patients and operate transport equipment. Good body mechanics.Have nimble hands and a pleasing voice. Should have the ability to remain calm evenwhen working under pressure. Maintains BLS certification.
