Scope of Responsibility:

This position is a production employee that assists leadership in direction, coaching and training of personnel using the Farsi language. This position will also assist with the training and development in multiple areas using multiple languages.

Essential Duties:

  • Translate both spoken word and written text to Farsi with accuracy, consistency, and efficiency
  • Assist with the training of new employees and employees needing refinement or up-grading of certifications
  • Communicate with the Plant Managers, Supervisors and Weld Coaches/Technicians regarding welding personnel who are having difficulties performing standards in the weld school
  • Assist and identify welding related issues (personnel, consumable or equipment related)
  • Ensure that all welding personnel are operating within the welding parameters for the procedures that are being used
  • Ensure that all personnel are using safe work practices
  • Assist with translating policies and procedures
  • Assist with the training of employees on safety and vehicle operations
  • Ensure translated information conveys original meaning and tone
  • Report for work on time and fulfill your shift responsibilities as planned.
  • Complete all responsibilities during your assigned shift as outlined in the schedule.
  • Engage respectfully with coworkers, fostering teamwork and mutual respect.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to train others
  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Ability to read, write and speak Farsi fluently
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand 100% of scheduled shift. Lifting, pushing, prying, and dragging heavy materials.
  • Must be capable of bending, stooping, crawling under or over and occasional climbing of stairs/ladders heights up to 6 or 7 feet.
  • Abnormal level of noise due to grinding, chipping, hammering requires hearing protection (ear plugs) be worn at all times.
  • Must possess adequate dexterity and stamina to sustain expected production effectively.Must be able to work in fast-paced work environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, bending, twisting and handling of materials.
  • Position requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness and a safety-minded individual.
  • Must be able to work in an open environment exposed to extreme temperatures.
