Our mission is to translate scientific discoveries into tangible therapeutic solutions that make a meaningful impact on cancer patients' lives. We are seeking a talented and motivated Translational Scientist to join our team and contribute to our mission-driven work.

Position Overview:

As a Translational Scientist at our company, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between basic research findings and clinical applications in the field of oncology. You will collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team of scientists and clinical operation specialists to drive the translation of novel discoveries into potential therapeutic interventions for cancer patients. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of oncology research in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Analyze complex datasets, including genomics, proteomics, and clinical data, to extract meaningful insights relevant to cancer biology and drug development.
  • Experimental Design: Design and execute preclinical experiments to validate therapeutic hypotheses and elucidate mechanisms of action using in vitro and in vivo models of cancer.
  • Biomarker Development: Develop and validate biomarker assays to support patient stratification, pharmacodynamic assessments, and mechanism of action studies for oncology drug candidates.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including research, clinical development, bioinformatics, and external collaborators, to advance translational science projects.
  • Scientific Communication: Present research findings internally and externally through presentations, reports, and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies in translational science and oncology research and evaluate their potential application to our research programs.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely progress and adherence to project timelines and milestones.

Qualifications:

  • PhD or equivalent degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology).
  • Strong background in oncology research, with expertise in cancer biology, tumor microenvironment, and molecular mechanisms of cancer.
  • Proven track record of conducting translational research in oncology, including biomarker discovery and validation, target identification, and preclinical drug development.
  • Proficiency in experimental techniques commonly used in cancer research, such as cell culture, molecular biology, histology, and in vivo models.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies for genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to critically evaluate scientific literature and data.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within established timelines.
  • Prior experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry setting is preferred but not required.
