Job description

Hourly pay range: $27.51 min. - $39.89 max
Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the Licensed Vocational Nurse is a care giver who assumes responsibility for a group of patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse and provides care to patients via therapeutic use of self .
Ability to meet all job & physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:
  1. One year of experience as an LVN in a clinical setting preferred

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
  1. Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse license required
  2. Current CPR certificate required
  3. IV Certification as evidenced on Primary Source Verification of LVN License (Certified in intravenous therapy and blood withdrawal required for LVNs working in Home Health, Hospice, Ambulatory Surgery, or the Transitional Care Unit)
  4. Elder Abuse training required within 60 days of hire
  5. MAB is required to be completed on the first day of work. (Grandfathered: existing employees must complete new requirements by 6/9/2025.)
