USF Transit Bus driver, a class B commercial driver's license with passenger endorsement, and no air brake restriction.  Safely transports students, staff and visitors between USF Tampa campus and surrounding locations within a two mile radius of our campus.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalency; Possession of a current Florida CDL class B driver's license with passenger endorsement, as well as an active Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).

Preferred Qualifications: Three or more years of experience driving buses or one year experience with Bull Runner. University setting experience.

Safely transports students, staff and visitors between USF Tampa campus and surrounding locations within a two mile radius of our campus. Utilizes the 2-way radio and
Mobile Data Terminal (MDT). Operates ADA equipment to including tie downs & audio visual announcement system (AVAS). Accurately records ridership counts using the MDT.

Pre-trip bus: Removes and turns in to dispatch, left/lost items from the bus. Sweeps interior of bus and removes trash.

Provides route and other necessary information to passengers.

Completes personal departmental paperwork in compliance with department's standards to include: When to Work, Sign-in/Sign-Out log, Oracle leave record, and WebClock punch in/out.
