Operational Transformation Project Manager

Arxada is a global leader in innovative solutions that protect our world. Our groundbreaking technologies, in-depth regulatory know-how, manufacturing and process development help our customers to safeguard nutrition, health and infrastructure efficiently through chemistry and biotechnology that enhance sustainability. We offer a broad portfolio of ingredients and services for multiple end-markets that include Human Health & Nutrition, Home & Personal Care, Professional Hygiene, Paints & Coatings and Wood Protection.

With customers in more than 100 countries, the company achieved sales of CHF 2 billion in 2024. Headquartered in Basel (Switzerland), Arxada employs 3,200 associates across 24 production sites and 14 R&D centers, all committed to our customers' success.

As an Operational Transformation Project Manager based in Alpharetta (Hybrid or remote), you will play a pivotal role in accelerating Arxada's strategic transformation across Integrated Operations. In this highly collaborative and fast‐paced environment, you will influence senior stakeholders, drive measurable value, and help shape scalable processes that strengthen operational excellence. This role is part of our Transformation PMO, a key enabler of Arxada's continuous growth and modernization. If you are energized by complex problem-solving, orchestrating cross‐functional change, and delivering tangible outcomes, this is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead end-to-end project lifecycles, from business case and requirements to implementation, hypercare and closure, using appropriate methodologies.
  • Drive consistent project governance, ensuring PMO standards, quality frameworks, and value-tracking mechanisms are fully embedded.
  • Partner with senior leaders, including Integrated Ops, IT and Finance, to align diverse priorities and facilitate effective steering committee discussions.
  • Ensure measurable value delivery, including efficiency gains, cost optimization, improved quality and KPI achievement.
  • Champion change management, fostering workforce adoption, minimizing disruption and ensuring sustainable transformation outcomes.
  • Manage project budgets, RAID logs and resources, ensuring risks, issues and dependencies are proactively addressed.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven expertise in project management in a global environment, ideally 5–10 years.
  • Strong experience in Integrated Operations and/or Supply Chain within complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated success managing large transformation projects or project portfolios.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP or Prince2) certification required.
  • Experience in change management, with additional certification preferred.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
  • Excellent communicator able to influence without authority and build trust across diverse teams.
  • High learning agility, adaptability and a hands-on, purpose-driven mindset aligned with Arxada's values: collaboration, fostering grit, decide & drive, and go beyond.
  • This role is primarily remote, with approximately 10% travel required for project-related plant visits.

This role is also eligible to earn a short-term incentive bonus and the following benefits: 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays and paid sick leave.

Arxada has world class offering in two distinct areas:

Microbial Control Solutions (MCS) focuses on threats posed by microorganisms to people and planet through five distinct business lines including Professional Hygiene, Home & Personal Care, Wood Protection, Paints & Coatings and Material Protection.

Nutrition, Care & Environmental (NCE), meanwhile, provides materials used to manufacture composites for electronics, aerospace and other markets, as well as vitamins and nutritional ingredients, chemicals and performance intermediates, and raw materials for a wide range of high-performance applications.

Arxada is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, status as a qualified individual with disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
