About Forged Fiber

Forged Fiber 37 is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Lead Project Manager to join the Transformation Office. This role will be responsible for leading and coordinating strategic transformation initiatives across Finance, Build Engine, Operations, Human Resources, and Information Technology.

The ideal candidate is an experienced project management professional who excels at building and executing complex project plans, managing cross-functional stakeholders, identifying risks, and driving initiatives through successful completion. While experience across all business functions is not required, the successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new business processes, influence stakeholders, and effectively manage projects spanning multiple departments.

This role requires strong leadership, executive communication skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment where priorities and business needs continue to evolve.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Management

  • Lead planning, execution, and closeout activities for multiple enterprise transformation projects simultaneously.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, resource plans, and risk registers.
  • Establish project governance, reporting structures, and communication plans to ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Drive project execution while ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and steering committees to maintain momentum and accountability.
  • Monitor project health and proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Manage project change requests and ensure appropriate stakeholder approvals.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with business leaders across Finance, Build Engine, Operations, HR, IT, and other functional areas to gather requirements and define project objectives.
  • Coordinate efforts across internal teams, external consultants, and software implementation partners.
  • Build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization to remove roadblocks and accelerate decision-making.
  • Drive accountability among project team members and stakeholders to ensure commitments are met.

Executive Communication & Reporting

  • Develop executive-level presentations, status reports, dashboards, and project updates.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Present project findings and recommendations in a concise and business-focused manner.
  • Escalate critical issues and risks appropriately while providing actionable resolution options.

Process Improvement & Transformation

  • Support the Transformation Office in identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and business processes.
  • Assist business leaders in defining future‑state processes and implementation roadmaps.
  • Promote project management best practices and standard methodologies throughout the organization.
  • Contribute to portfolio planning and strategic transformation initiatives that support company growth objectives.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of project management experience leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects involving multiple business units and stakeholder groups.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, governance, and lifecycle management.
  • Proven ability to build detailed project plans and manage competing priorities.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to executive leadership.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Monday.com, or equivalent platforms.
