Our client is seeking a Digital Transformation Project Manager to lead high-impact technology initiatives that modernize how the business runs and how customers interact with the platform. In this role, you'll help deliver an enterprise ERP implementation and manage the planning, development, testing, and rollout of a customer portal-bringing structure, clear communication, and strong change management to cross-functional teams across operations, finance, sales, and external technology partners.
Compensation:
$75/hour contract
Responsibilities:
- Drive day-to-day coordination for the ERP implementation across the organization
- Partner with stakeholders to define business requirements, workflows, data needs, reporting needs, and system configuration priorities
- Build and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables, including tracking risks, dependencies, and open items
- Facilitate working sessions, testing sessions, status updates, and implementation checkpoints
- Coordinate data migration planning, validation, and cleanup, aligning legacy system coordination with implementation needs
- Manage change requests by tracking decisions, issues, and evolving requirements throughout delivery
- Support documentation and process rollout, including user guides and standard operating procedures
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), collect feedback, and help resolve issues to readiness for go-live
- Support training plans, rollout schedules, and post-go-live stabilization
- Oversee the customer portal project lifecycle-from requirements and UX planning through testing and launch readiness
- Ensure portal delivery is secure, scalable, user-friendly, and aligned with business goals for customer experience
- Serve as the central connector between business teams, IT resources, vendors, and leadership, translating needs into actionable work
- Maintain clear visibility through dashboards, project plans, meeting notes, risk logs, issue trackers, and leadership-ready status reporting
Requirements:
- 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in IT, systems implementation, ERP, software development, or business transformation
- Experience leading cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and business teams
- Strong understanding of business systems, process improvement, and technology implementation best practices
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to create and manage project plans, timelines, action items, risks, and status reports
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience removing roadblocks
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Experience using project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com, ClickUp, or similar)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
- Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, project management, or a related field
