As a Senior Consultant, Technical Transformation on the Finance Transformation team, you will be responsible for...

  • Configure and support Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS) to streamline consolidation, eliminations, roll-forwards, and financial statement reporting
  • Use Oracle Narrative Reporting to draft, manage, review, and publish Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) narratives, Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&A), footnotes, and supporting schedules
  • Partner with county finance, accounting, treasury, and external audit stakeholders to gather data, validate balances, and resolve reporting exceptions
  • Map source data to ACFR presentation requirements and maintain report structures, templates, and workflow configurations
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities tied to ACFR reporting deadlines
  • Document accounting policies, reporting assumptions, reconciliation logic, audit support materials, and process improvements

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree  
  • 2+ years of experience supporting governmental accounting and Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) preparation
  • 2+ years of experience with Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB)-based financial reporting and county fund structures
  • 2+ years of experience using Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS) and Oracle Narrative Reporting
  • 2+ years of experience performing reconciliations, validating balances, and resolving reporting discrepancies
  • Ability to travel up to 40%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
  • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud administration or report design
  • Experience with internal controls and documentation standards in a public sector finance environment
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $91,100 to $179,500.
