Job description

About the Role

As Business Transformation Manager, you will transform how Kohl’s works through business team integration and advocacy to drive key initiative execution.
 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead definition and alignment of transformation scope and objectives with stakeholders

  • Develop comprehensive transformation plans and share them with stakeholders

  • Track transformation performance and progress and escalate issues as needed

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation for successful transformation execution

  • Manage transformational changes and build relationships with key stakeholders

  • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks during transformation

  • Delegate tasks based on team strengths and experience levels

  • Design and implement metrics, analysis and reporting for project evaluation

  • Facilitate change readiness and post-change impact assessments

  • Influence effective communication strategies to drive awareness and action

  • Additional tasks may be assigned

​Addendum - DPC

  • Support Global Sourcing and Product Services (GSPS), Design, Art and Trend teams through the transformation into Digital Product Creation 

  • Utilize knowledge of 3D software functions and other digital design softwares and an understanding of the current business environment to gain a deep understanding and expertise in DPC benefits

  • Engage with digital design software vendors to drive sales, speed, the voice of customer digital testing and sustainability

What Skills You Have

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • 10+ years of experience in Retail, Product Development or Technical Design, Fashion Design, Pattern Making, Manufacturing or similar industries

  • Experience leading others and the ability to lead by influence

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Strong organizational and planning skills, ability to prioritize effectively and manage time well 

  • Proven experience in collaborative facilitation, development and execution

  • Creative thinker and problem solver

  • Agile learner

  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Adobe, Miro, ChatGPT or equivalent

  • Passionate about process and business support and continuous improvement

Preferred

  • Background in technical design or design

  • Patterning background

  • Knowledge of garment construction 

  • Experience in end-user day to day

  • Ability to use 3D programs or willingness to learn software

This role is based at our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You’ll work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
