Job description

GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
Assists with certifying athletes for the NCAA, assists with evaluating transfer credit, assists with proofing the Schedule of Classes, and aids the Registrar with special projects such as data corrections, clean-up for Student Planning, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong Work Ethic/ Attention to Detail
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
  • Works directly with the NCAA Certifying Official and the Athletics Department with NCAA academic eligibility for athletes. Assists in certification of student athletes by monitoring progress towards degree and transfer status, assists in registering athletes, codes athletes during certification process for each season of play, enters each athlete into the CAI software, updates grade information each semester, and administers all responsibilities in accordance with NCAA rules.
  • Assists the Transfer Credit Analyst with evaluating transfer credit, updating the Transferology platform, and preparing and updating equivalency guides.
  • Works with the Academic Curriculum Officer in proofing course schedules for Spring, Summer and Fall reporting terms and building Continuous Progresses and Independent Studies on demand.
  • Assists the Graduation Officer on assigned tasks for upcoming graduations such as conducting preliminary degree audits of graduating students, proofing final degree audits, and checking final grades and requirements before degree posting.
  • Assists Registrar with data clean-up projects in Colleague for Student Planning, pulling in applicants to students per technology request forms, changing degree plans, processing forms at NPO, and other projects as needed.
  • Aids in proofing: preliminary NSC reports, graduate lists, imaged documents, and other documents.
  • Assists with maintaining student files in Colleague including address and other personal information changes, and FERPA releases.
  • Assists with front counter duties as needed such as telephones, transcript questions, and verbal graduation verification.
  • Assists with processing RegTeam requests such as NSR requests, add/ drop request, withdrawal requests, registrations, program changes, processing degree adjustments, and substitutions.
  • Assists in processing the unenrollment workflow requests.

This is a full-time position.
WORK LOCATION:
This position will work on the main campus, located at 3000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211
