Description

The Continuous Improvement Analyst - Transaction Processing is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and implementing process improvements across transaction processing operations. This role partners closely with business lines, technology teams, and operations leaders to drive efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance customer experience.

The ideal candidate brings strong operational knowledge of transaction processing (ACH, checks, payments, etc.) and a proven ability to analyze workflows, automate processes, and deliver measurable improvements.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Process Improvement & Optimization

Identify process inefficiencies, control gaps, and automation opportunities across Transaction Processing

Lead end-to-end continuous improvement initiatives using structured methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis)

Conduct process mapping, workflow analysis, and time studies to improve productivity and reduce cycle times

Partner with teams to design and implement scalable, sustainable solutions

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

Required
ย ย ย ย 3-5+ years of experience in banking operations, preferably in Transaction Processing
ย ย ย ย Strong understanding of payment types (ACH, check processing, returns, exceptions, etc.)
ย ย ย ย Proven experience in process improvement or analysis
ย ย ย ย Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
ย ย ย ย Advanced Excel skills (preferred: VBA, automation experience) and experience using JIRA
ย ย ย ย Ability to operate in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment
ย ย ย ย Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40 Hours

  • Work Schedule: 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday, 4 days in office at our Riverside, RI office and 1 day from home
